About the half day workshop

This half day workshop will cover aspects of reducing a buildings footprint to net zero or net positive. It will look at energy, carbon, water and waste, exploring regenerative design solutions and ways of design thinking. 

We will also bring you up to speed on the development of our Net Zero / Net Positive rating tool.

Programme Format

This half day workshop will look at energy, carbon, water and waste, exploring regenerative design solutions and ways of design thinking. We will engage in a series of facilitated exercises and group discussions during the course of the day.

Built environment professionals, sustainability practitioners and property developers who are excited about the challenge of pushing the boundaries in their designs and developments.

GBCSA leads the way in the journey to net zero buildings

The first four projects to be certified as Net Zero (pilot) in South Africa are the Vodafone Site Solution Innovation Centre in Midrand, Gauteng; Estuaries Plaza in Century City, Cape Town; and Greenfields Industrial Park in Cape Town and Two Dam Sustainable in Montagu in the Western Cape.
