ONLINE MASTER CLASS SERIES: A Deep Dive into Green Building Aspects

GBCSA is launching a masterclass series that will offer a deep dive into various technical aspects of green buildings.

The 2-hour sessions will vary in subject matter and aim to equip green building professionals, architects, developers and contractors with a greater understanding of green building aspects.

Sustainable Water-use Solutions

Green Star SA certification tool aims to simultaneously reduce the pressure and minimise the impacts on the environment from extensive water use in the built environment. The water category address the reduction of potable water use through efficient design of building systems, rainwater collection and water reuse.

The Masterclass will focus on Sustainable Water-use Solutions. We have teamed up with Watericon to deliver a masterclass session that offers technical solutions to reduce water consumption and implement water harvesting and recycling techniques. The learning outcomes of the class includes understanding of innovative water use technologies, unpack real life case studies, implementing solutions to reuse and recycle wastewater. We will conclude the session with interactive discussion decentralised vs. centralised water and wastewater solutions and finally operations and maintenance of the water and wastewater plants.
