GBCSA is launching a masterclass series that will offer a deep dive into various technical aspects of green buildings.

The Masterclass will cover Thermal Comfort Solutions for clients buildings with the purpose of creating a sustainable future for HVAC-R. We partnered with Daikin South Africa, to deliver a session with the focus to analyse the difference between variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) and Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV) systems in the South African Context. Furthermore introducing new technologies that will reduce air-conditioning energy consumption of buildings.
The CPD accredited masterclass has been developed specifically for consulting engineers, architects, property developers, and any professionals interested in Green Building certification.
CPD: The South African Institute of Draughting has assessed and validated this Category One CPD Activity- Credit Value: 0.2 credits.

Marc Brotherhood completed his refrigeration trade in the UK and it is here where he gained valuable experience in electro-mechanical at industrial level. In 2012 Marc started with Daikin SA as a field technician and rapidly progressed into a consulting sales roll with his focus being chilled water plants.
In 2015 he became regional manager and in 2019 national product manager. Marc has also been an educator at Daikin since 2012 and currently also heads the technical training department for Daikin SA.
