Job Purpose

Ensuring financial security is maintained by managing internal controls, policies and procedures. To support the Head of Finance and Operations.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the month end process leading to the submission of accurate monthly management accounts in a timely manner.
• Producing accurate management and board reports
• Ensuring effective cashflow management
• Revenue recognition including invoicing
• Ensuring accurate revenue and expense management
• Responsible for the coordination of business planning and budgeting process
• Managing all statutory returns
• Audit liaison – including producing audit working papers
• Supervise the Finance Officers

Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary or professional qualification in Accounting or Finance
• Proficiency in Pastel Evolution
• Minimum 3 years in a similar role
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in all Microsoft packages
• Ability to independently manage workload and deadlines
• Relevant industry experience gained from a similar organization (NPO), property sector or sustainability company/organization will be an added advantage
