Green Star Professional programme for Sustainable Precincts
About the Programme
This 2-part programme provides an overview and understanding of our rating system for our Sustainable Precincts tool. This tool allows for the objective measurement and rating of the social and environmental performance of precincts and provides insight into the many aspects that should be considered for the improvement of the performance of these precincts.
The second part of this programme is the online exam, passing which an individual will become accredited as an AP – Sustainable Precincts.

The intensive full-day workshop focuses on the fundamentals of the Green Star - Sustainable Precincts rating tool, including the business case for sustainable communities, the categories and credits within the tool, and the steps to register and certify a project.
On completion of the face to face workshop you will be entitled to write the Green Star Sustainable Precincts exam; passing which you will be recognisedas an Accredited Professional - Sustainable Precincts.

Who Should Attend?
Any planner or landscape designer who is involved in the design and master planning of large precincts; neighbourhoods or large sites and is seeking to get it Green Star certified. This programme is also suited to managers and owners of precincts and large scale developments.
The Rating Tool is targeted at master planned developments at the earliest development stage to encourage best practice master plans and technical inputs at this critical stage of the development cycle.
