The new Group Five Head Office is located in Waterfall City, close to the banks of the Jukskei River. Great care was taken to attenuate and infiltrate storm water run-off in an effort to reduce contribution to the peak storm flows of the river. Landscape is used to attenuate storm water flow and direct into two attenuation dams. The majority of the landscape does not require irrigation as it is designed to flourish from natural rainfall. The building has installed highly efficient ammonia chillers to reduce the energy requirements of the building. In addition, ice storage was installed to offset the shortfall in energy availability.
