Draft SANS10400XA 2020 Information & Feedback Session | Cape Town | 12 March 2020

GBCSA, along with UCT, GreenCape & GreenBDG, will be hosting an event to inform you on the context of the new draft of SANS 10400- XA 2020 (energy usage in buildings).
This standard is out for Public Comment and the hosts of this event encourage your participation. This get-together will give you the opportunity to ask questions and provide some high level feedback. Lisa Reynolds, member of the SABS Technical Committee and facilitator of the drafting of SANS10400-XA, will be providing an overview of Version 2 of the standard and highlight any significant changes to the current standard.
The draft standard aims to further advance the built environment towards greater energy efficiency and will impact most building types.
Your awareness, input and feedback on the standard will be highly valued. The draft standard; DSS SANS 10400-XA - can be accessed here (via application to SABS). The opportunity for public comment closes on 24 March 2020.
