The GBCSA has added a new Covid-19 innovation credit to its Green Star rating tool. This will reward any design initiatives, construction management procedures, technologies, processes or strategies employed on projects to address Covid-19.

Green Building Council South Africa (GBCSA) will be reducing their physical office footprint from two regional offices into one, resulting in GBCSA operations being located in Cape Town. It is with great pleasure that the GBCSA announces the release of its Integrated Annual Report 2018. In the opening foreword, Chair Nkosinathi Manzana states that the GBCSA is now positioned more strongly than ever to lead the green building movement in South Africa and beyond.
