The New Council Chamber development is located in the heart of Braamfontein on Corner of Loveday and De Korte Street, a stone’s throw from the iconic Constitutional Hill. The building is a cylindrical structure enveloped entirely by a glass facade with vertical glass fins covering the curved outer skin of the building. The new chamber is linked to the existing City Council administrative offices via a link bridge constructed from a combination of plastered wall and glass shopfronts.
