Annelide Sherratt
Annelidé Sherratt has a Masters of Science in Energy and Sustainable Building Design from the University of De Montfort In Leicester (Cum Laude). She has an undergraduate degree in Architecture from the University of Johannesburg. Annelidé is a Professional Senior Architectural Technologist (Prof.S.Arch.T) and currently the Head of the Green Building Certifications department at Solid Green Consulting . She has over 10 years’ experience in the industry and completed more than 40 certifications with Green Star SA and/or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED). She is a Green Building Council of South Africa Faculty Member and an Independent New Building and Interiors Assessor/Moderator.
Annelidé achieved various GBCSA awards in 2018 for the following categories: Highest Rated Building- 78 Corlett Drive (Winner), Net Zero Innovation- Vleihuis Multi Unit Residential Development (Runner up) and Green Star Established- Annelide Sherratt (Runner up). GBCSA award in 2015 for the category: Highest Rated Building- for the 6 Star Upper Grayston Block F office building (Runner up), and the runner up GBCSA award in 2012 for the category: ‘Green Star Rising’. She is a Green Star SA Accredited Professional in all Green Star tools, the WELL tool, the EDGE tool as well as a LEED AP in New Building Design and Construction, Neighbourhoods and Interiors.
She helped achieve a number of firsts for the African continent. That includes the 1st triple net zero certification in Africa, the first New Built certification in Mauritius, the first retail certification in Uganda, and the second Sustainable Precinct certifications in Africa.
